1800 Watt – Infrastrip Infrared Heating Strip Including Wireless Remote Control Thermostat
The curved shape of the 1800 Watt – Infrastrip Infrared Heating Strip is designed to allow excellent heat distribution that can heat surfaces and people beneath it whilst keeping the rising heat loss to an absolute minimum. The ribbed front has been scientifically calculated to ensure the best possible heat output angle for an optimal heat distribution, and with uniform heat distribution, there is no heat loss. The Infrastrip is waterproof to IPX4 standard, but is equally safe to use in covered indoor areas such as conservatories, orangeries, cafes, bars, restaurants, factories etc, due to overheat protection.
Similar to all our other infrared heating panels, the 1800 Watt – Infrastrip Infrared Heating Strip Including Wireless Remote Control Thermostat heats people and objects directly, feeling like the sun’s rays, and heating solid objects and bodies, which therefore emits heat into the ambient air, then the ambient air temperature is increased. The results are, very low energy cost and ultimate warmth.
Additionally, the Infrastrip works excellently within a damp environment. Due to the way infrared heating works, it eliminates damp and mould from the specific area, and we have now tested the Infrastrip in a damp room alongside a dehumidifier, and found they work excellently together.
Dehumidifier’s work at drying out the air and the moisture in it, infrared however, works at heating the structure, so therefore, working together, the damp area will be dried out much more quickly, and both the air and the structure have been dried out thoroughly. As well as that, the infrared will continue to keep the structure dry and warm, therefore stopping damp and mould appearing.
